Nothing screams a fresh start as September for us, a new blank chapter to write your story on. This year, we are indeed writing a new chapter in the Beam Mode book since our website is launching. Even from the beginning, a thought has been present that perhaps one day our beloved account on instagram could turn into something more.
We have many ideas of what this can evolve to, however right now you will find our first drop online. The older we get and the more hectic our life schedule gets we have felt a shift towards less and less, resulting in only using and owning pieces that truly makes us beam. This reflects in our beauty cabinet too. Gone are the days when we could indulge in a ten step skin care routine. Small kids and other priorities have made that quite impossible. Now we are drawn to the products that without to much complexity gets the work done, but at the same time add a few minutes of bliss and calm. Small changes of items and routines that add glimmer to your everyday life.
We are ready to help you fill your beauty cabinet with simple and curated gems and ironically we are starting off with a small item that is not skincare related at all but still has that perfect mix of simplicity, necessity and chicness at the same time. An item that we use daily and that, in our opinion, has secured its spot as a go-to accessory for any woman on the go. Our Claw Clip in Grande and Petite are of course the accessory of the season. It was so hard to choose the first color to produce but we are really happy with this creamy and delicious caramel tone which we feel is very autumn appropriate. This year I have been serious about my new year intention/goal to read more and the new book by Taylor Jenkins Read was a real delight. I read Atmosphere each night before going to bed and in a week it was finished. Loved this book and a perfect read this fall to escape to another time and place with.
When I need some inspiration and a pick-me up I love going to a cozy restaurant or hotel for a few hours of creative work. Sitting inside in a beautiful environment, people watching, listening to some good music always gets the creative flow going. If you look real close you see an early sample of the Grande Claw Clip that I have been wearing all summer, as well as another glow staple, launching here at Beam mode later this month.
This September I am aiming to spend as much time outdoors as I can and I encourage you to do the same. The crisp fall air has a special place in my heart and nothing feels as relaxing and grounding as being in nature. Finally - some words from Thomas Lélu to think about when entering the months ahead. Rewrite the meaning of ASAP. As soft as possible, as sincere as possible, as soulful as possible, as sustainable as possible.
